GPS triggering is an option that is available on all of our systems.

It is a highly advanced system designed to make operation and set up as simple and quick as possible. With the addition of one piece of hardware and an antennae your system can be fully GPS controlled in a couple of hours. There is no need for a specialist setup by v6e or a third party.

The system can learn a route from a driver and / or be mapped out with our GPS desktop software. The system works in a similar way to a car satellite navigation system, a map is presented to the driver on the driver information screen that shows the points where the commentary is to be played and the route(s) the vehicle is to follow. Also like the better sat-nav systems, we use an intelligent positioning algorithm that using the known road network topology and geography can enhance the positional accuracy by an order of magnitude. The driver always has the ability to over-ride the automatic system and to be able to play diversion information.

Dead Reckoning (optional)

If you operate in a very built-up area where the view of the sky is very limited and you may only get the occasional lock on a satellite we have developed an additional piece of hardware that estimates your position based on the last fix, vehicle direction and speed. This hardware needs a connection to your tachometer or an additional speed sensor.  Our electronics includes its own gyroscope for determining direction.
