The Rapid Fit system is appropriately named due to its extremely quick fitting time, with a double decker bus being able to be fully fitted with this system in just one day. (See New York Case Study).

The seat units are designed to be fitted onto the sidewalls of a vehicle which are connected in a daisy chain formation. Each unit serves two passengers, with two screens and two v6e Limited designed long-life jack sockets.

Rapid-Fit optional extras:

• Large text screen (for hard of hearing or advertising).

• GPS triggering and navigation.

The driver interface is simple to operate whilst providing complete control of the tour also by offering diversion commentary and alternative routes.

This is provided through a day and night visible screen, controlled by a tactile keypad and foot pedal, allowing the driver to maintain concentration on the road.

The main control unit is compact measures just 360 x 280 x 280 mm and mounted on its own weight rated mount system to prevent damage from the vibration of the bus.
